Shiprock is a monadnock rising nearly 1,583 feet above the high-desert plain of the Navajo Nation in San Juan County, New Mexico, United States. Its peak elevation is 7,177 feet above sea level. It is about 10.75 miles southwest of the town of Shiprock, which is named for the peak.
I have been shooting images since my parents purchased my first camera when I was 12 years old. Prior to that I enjoyed being in front of a camera. My career in photography has gone from working on my High School yearbook to creating images for my own personal enjoyment. I have shot for advertising, portraiture, weddings, fashion photography, and editorial work. I have shot from High school sports to NFL. From children to famous stars. I’ve shot interiors of homes from the small adobe to huge mansions, rowboats to large yachts. I’ve been involved in architectural photography, landscapes, street photography, and large and small celebratory gatherings.
